Job Seeker Services
This program serves eligible people who have low incomes, are 22 years of age or older and who need intensive services or training services to secure good jobs at viable wages. Job Seekers should first explore core services at the WorkSource Center. Referrals to this program most often occur via the local WorkSource Center.

• On-site computer/resource lab provides assistance with the Internet, access job searches, resume preparation, career development software and auxiliary services.

• Career counseling assists the client with career choices, as well as assistance with tuition, books, transportation, work clothing, tools, childcare and emergency needs.

• Basic Skills Training allows clients to improve basic math or reading skills or complete G.E.D studies.

• Vocational Training enables participants to receive certifications, complete degrees or take classes that will further employment goals.

• On-The-Job training provides up to 50 percent wage reimbursement to employers willing to train participants at the job site.
