Bi-lingual Customer Service Representative (Part Time) (Yakima)

CSR Needed in a Busy Yakima Non-Profit Call Center

We are looking for individuals with a strong desire to contribute to our mission by providing excellent customer service in a call center setting. We are looking for responsible, flexible, and organized individuals who thrive in a fast paced environment with high call volumes. This position requires strong telephone skills, a positive attitude, and a detail-oriented approach. This position is ideal for those who naturally have a talent to speak with people over the phone, and those who enjoy a challenge. Computer proficient in Windows based programs and the ability to work as a team player is essential. Punctuality and consistent work attendance are necessary.

Requirements/Experience:


  • Bi-lingual in Spanish

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Two years customer service or call center experience required or comparable experience required.

  • Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Criminal History Back Ground Check.

PARATRANSIT AND FIXED ROUTE DRIVER IN YAKIMA, WA

People For People is accepting applications for a full time PARATRANSIT AND FIXED ROUTE DRIVER for our Yakima, WA location. We are looking for a positive and professional team player to assist People For People in achieving our mission.

General Summary:
This position provides driving duties for Paratransit routes (seniors & disabled), and/or Fixed routes for the general public on community coordinated transportation programs.

Essential Function and Duties:
1. Safely drives assigned routes and specialized trips as scheduled.
2. Assists Senior citizens and/or persons of special needs in and out of vehicles as required and insuring they are properly accommodated, in order to assure their comfort and safety.
3. Maintains appropriate records as required.
4. Attends drivers’ meetings and training sessions as required.
5. Performs daily check of vehicles for safety and preventative maintenance as directed by the Driver Supervisor.
6. Cleans and maintains vehicle during shift.

BILINGUAL DISPATCH/SCHEDULER IN YAKIMA, WA

Bilingual Dispatch/Scheduler needed in a Busy Yakima Non-Profit Transportation Center


Under the direction of the Yakima Transportation Operations Manager and in accordance with the guidelines and policies of the company and local, state, and federal laws, provides bilingual daily coordination of the transportation scheduling and for the daily coordination of real-time dispatch. Performs outreach and marketing for the transportation services throughout Yakima County. This position requires a bilingual (English/Spanish) individual with good customer relations, internal and external.

Additionally responsible for the coordination of transportation resources and to provide public education regarding existing transportation resources for residents of Yakima county. Works to build awareness among decision makers, service providers, and riders on key issues related to the coordination of transportation and human services. This is a Multi-Faceted position which includes: training clients on local transportation options; performing preliminary screening for eligibility for People For People’s paratransit services; and outreach and education efforts on transportation resources.

Requirements/Experience:

  • Bilingual in Spanish

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Must have valid Washington driver’s license and state required automobile insurance.

  • Two (2) years clerical with knowledge of data entry, general office procedures, rules of grammar, spelling, punctuation and phone usage.

  • Computer knowledge and experience.

  • Employment is contingent upon successfully completing and passing a Pre-employment Drug Screen and a Washington State Patrol Background Check and/or National Background Check and a Reference Check
