*Applicant Screening:
We screen potential employees to your qualifications.

*Referral of Qualified Applicants:
We send you applicants who are ready for work and who have been screened to your qualifications. Some applicants may have been trained at our local colleges, technical school or local computer training centers.

*Tax Credits:
The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) is a tax credit available to businesses that hire employees from one of eight qualified groups. Businesses can save up to $2,400 in tax credits when you hire someone from one of these groups. For more information contact: www.doleta.gov/business/.

*On the Job Training:
On the Job Training contracts are intended to offset training costs incurred by employers. Businesses can save up to a formula of 50% of the training wages paid for a pre-determined length of time.

*Skills Training:
People For People can pay basic skills and other classroom/training fees that help a qualifying employee gain identified skills needed for successful employment.

*Career Jump:
The Career Jump contract allows the employer to train a qualifying employee for 20 hours per week for up to 5 months at no cost to the employer. At any time during the 5 months when the employer feels the employee is job-ready, the employer then hires the employee and pays him/her the standard wage.

*Work Experience:
This is a structured learning experience that takes place on the job at a public or private non-profit agency for a limited time period. The purspose is to promote the development of good work habits and basic work skills. The employer may choose to hire or to not hire the trainee at the completion of the work experience.

*Customized Training:
Training designed to meet special requirements of an employer (or a group of employers) can be conducted if the employer commits to hire and individual upon successful completion of the training. Employer pays for not less than 50% of the cost of training.

*Tools and Equipment:
Trainees referred by People For People may receive up to the minimum level of tools required for a position, if not usually supplied by employer.
